BUILDING WITH FAITH | CONCRETE POURING DAY
Today, we begin another important milestone on site—concrete pouring for our column footings, the very foundation that will carry the structure above.
But before the concrete was poured, we performed a short construction practice that we have never tried before.
As part of a long-observed belief among some in the construction field, we performed a blood offering and buried coins along the footing as a symbolic practice for blessings, protection, and prosperity for the project.
It may be our first time doing this, but we believe there is nothing lost in respecting traditions and practices that have been observed by many before us—as long as our faith remains firmly centered on our One and Only God.
At the end of the day, traditions may be part of the journey, but it is still our faith, careful workmanship, proper engineering, and commitment to quality that will guide us toward a successful project and, ultimately, a successful turnover to our client.
