A recent client in Valenzuela City contacted us after experiencing frequent breaker tripping at home.
When we checked the electrical system, we found that the house had a 100A main breaker, but the feeder wire was only 3.5 mmยฒ THHN. On top of that, the feeder was laid exposed on the roof without any conduit for protection.
Because of the undersized wire and constant exposure to the weather, the insulation eventually burned.
Thankfully, the problem was caught before it started an electrical fire.
Remember, a circuit breaker protects the wiring. If the breaker rating is higher than the wireโs current-carrying capacity, the conductor can overheat before the breaker trips.
Your home may look beautiful on the outside, but whatโs behind your walls matters just as much. A safe electrical system protects your family, your home, and everything youโve worked hard for.
If youโre noticing any of these signs:
โข Breakers that trip often
โข Flickering lights
โข Burning smell near outlets or panel boards
โข Hot outlets or switches
โข Old, exposed, or damaged wiring
Donโt wait until itโs too late.
