Client Concern: Unit not powering on.

Findings: Upon inspection, the control board was found wet due to overflowing water inside the unit.

Since the unit is a non-inverter type, our recommendation is to replace the existing control board with a compatible universal board.

However, due to the late arrival at the site and the unavailability of replacement parts at that time, we performed a temporary manual operation to help the client use the unit for the evening while awaiting the necessary parts.

Next Step: Return visit for the installation of the compatible replacement board and proper operational testing.

Proper diagnosis is essential before replacing any component. Temporary measures should be clearly distinguished from permanent repairs, with the necessary corrective work completed afterward.

After taking a short break due to the flu, I’m grateful to be back at work and continuing our commitment to providing quality air conditioning services.

For today's service, we attended to two LG Dual Inverter units scheduled for cleaning.

During our initial assessment, one unit was found to have a cooling issue. Rather than proceeding with cleaning alone, we explained to the owner that cleaning would not resolve the underlying problem if the system was low on refrigerant due to a possible leak.

We proceeded with a system check-up and found signs of a system leak and insufficient refrigerant charge. We explained our findings to the owner and provided a quotation for the necessary repair.

The cleaning of the affected unit was put on hold pending approval of the proposed repair. We proceeded with the cleaning of the other LG unit.

This service is a reminder that proper assessment comes first. Cleaning can help improve airflow and remove accumulated dirt, but when a refrigerant leak is present, the underlying issue must be addressed to restore proper cooling.

For the past few days, I had to take a break from work due to the flu.

Working in a physically demanding field reminded me that taking care of our health is also part of our responsibility. Sometimes, we need to pause, recover, and give ourselves time to get better.

Today, I’m grateful to be back at work and able to complete another service.

For this service, we attended to an Astron Window Type air conditioner with a system leak. The unit underwent the necessary repair and cleaning procedures, followed by vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and final performance testing.

Each step is important in ensuring that the repair is properly carried out and the unit is checked before service completion.

Being away from work for a few days made me appreciate even more the opportunity to do what I do and serve the clients who continue to trust Mike’s Air Solution.

The client reported low cooling performance from their Astron 1HP Inverter air conditioning unit.

Upon inspection, we found a refrigerant leak on the evaporator side. We also checked the outdoor unit, including the compressor area, to inspect for possible leaks. No leak was found in the inspected outdoor section, and the condition of the evaporator was still suitable for the repair process.

With these findings, we proceeded with the system reprocess to address the leak and restore the unit’s cooling performance.

The client reported water leaking from their TCL 2HP split-type air conditioner.

Upon inspection, we found a clogged drain pan and drain hose, preventing proper water drainage. We also noticed that the indoor unit was not properly leveled, with the drain hose position contributing to water accumulation.

The client reported that their Panasonic 1HP Inverter air conditioner was not cooling properly. Upon checking the unit, we found a faulty temperature sensor that was preventing the compressor from continuing its normal operation.

🔧 Service Performed:

✔️ Refrigerant level checked and a small amount of refrigerant added after confirming the charge was slightly low
