The design is a masterclass in "neovernacular" architecture, which blends modern materials with traditional Filipino forms and environmental sensitivity.
Inspiration from Nature: The building’s unique staggered, ziggurat-like shape is directly inspired by the Banaue Rice Terraces. This tiered structure isn't just aesthetic; it allows for extensive greenery on every level.
Passive Cooling and Shading: The facade features angled sun-breakers and a heavily vegetated exterior. These plants act as a natural thermal insulator, shielding the interior from the harsh tropical sun and reducing the need for intensive air conditioning.
