Magandang balita sa ating mga Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs)!
Simula ngayong Billing Month ng October 2026, ganap nang AALISIN ANG VALUE-ADDED TAX (VAT) SA SYSTEM LOSS CHARGE sa inyong mga billing statement.
Bakit inalis ang VAT sa System Loss? Alinsunod sa ERC Resolution No. 26 Series of 2026 at BIR RMC No. 097-2026, ang System Loss Charge ay itinuturing na ipinapasa lamang na gastusin (pass-through cost) ayon sa mandato ng pamahalaan, kaya hindi na ito papatawan ng VAT.
Ano ang epekto nito sa inyong bill? Dahil tinanggal na ang 12% VAT na dating ipinapataw sa System Loss Charge, magkakaroon ng kaunting bawas-singil sa kabuuang halaga ng inyong babayaran simula ngayong billing ng Oktubre 2026.
📌 Paalala: Ang pagbabagong ito ay patungkol lamang sa pagtatanggal ng buwis (VAT) sa System Loss at hindi mababawasan ang kalidad ng serbisyo ng kuryente.
