Montaña, mar, selva y ahora ciudad.

Antes de diseñar un proyecto, pasamos tiempo en el terreno: el movimiento del sol y de la brisa, cómo funciona su topografía, cómo preservar lo que hay y aportar a su entorno. Cada vista que ves desde adentro se decidió a partir de esa lectura.

Before designing a project, we spend time on the site: how the sun and the breeze move, how the topography works, how to preserve what’s there and add to its surroundings. Every view you see from inside was decided from that reading.

The best light in a room is never the one you see directly.

Look up in Casa Tucán and there’s nothing there. No fixture breaks the ceiling. Nothing gets in the way of the wood, or the view past it.

Every light source sits low instead. Under counters, along the base of the stairs, beneath furniture. Light comes from the room, not from above it.

Under the bed, a strip of light low enough to disappear into the frame. On the wall, two more, placed exactly where a hand would reach for them.

A space lit this way feels elevated. More refined, warmer, the kind of space that feels resolved rather than decorated.

Wrong light indoors, and the world outside disappears. Design it right, and the roofline opens straight into the night — the moon, the stars, all still there.

Casa Lola is almost done.

And before we show you the result, we want to show you how it got there. Because this one earned it.

A five-meter-wide lot on a steep slope above the ocean. A client who looked at that land and already saw the house. A team that had to figure out how to make that vision real without touching more than what was necessary.

Four villas and a floating boathouse on the Caribbean coast.

The concept starts from what the place already has: the way the wind moves, where the sea appears, how local architecture has always dealt with shade and rain and humidity.

Simple volumes, deep overhangs, generous terraces.
The idea was never to impose a vision on Bocas — it was to understand it well enough to add something of our own to it.
