New install on Gillingham Road, Kamo 📍

Koyo Greens Limited recently completed these 150x150mm timber bollards wrapping around the new bridge constructed by United Civil for WDC. Each post is set with a clean concrete surround for a solid finish and sharp look.

We’ve also installed a lockable sleeve system, allowing easy removal when vehicle access is needed — practical and tidy.

From a blank frontage to a vibrant retreat — this project combines architectural palms (Dypsis, Rhopalostylis sapida, Howea forsteriana) with lush underplanting of Ligularia and Philodendron Xanadu. Natural stone and a central water feature complete the design, creating movement, texture, and a calming atmosphere.

Project complete ✅
A refined planting scheme designed to complement the natural contours of the site and provide year-round structure and greenery.

This landscape features a selection of Ficus, Gardenia, Buxus ‘Green Gem’, and Magnolia grandiflora, chosen for their hardiness, form, and aesthetic value.
Concrete steps have been integrated to navigate the gradient, framed by neatly planted buxus to create rhythm and structure. Stone retaining walls and organic mulch tie the entire design into the surrounding environment, enhancing both function and finish.

Pleased with how this one has come together — even with a few wet days on-site.

Kokopu School Landscaping Project 🌿
Pleased to share a few snaps from our recent work at Kokopu School! This job involved applying ecocoir matting to stabilise a challenging bank, followed by planting a vibrant mix of New Zealand natives and select exotics.

Despite the rain and steep terrain, the team pushed through — and the results are looking fantastic! 💪

A recent softscape update for the Advance Build display home in Whangarei. Here are a few snaps of the process from start to finish 🌱✨

We carefully removed and transplanted existing plants from the front, installing new hedges and finished off with some fresh bark to lock in the moisture around the new plants.
