We have fully switched from solvent based top coats to POLYASPARTIC top coat. No more bad smell, and better performance!

Polyaspartic resin is a two-component coating. It forms a dense, cross-linked coating with rapid curing, strong wear resistance and good chemical resistance.

Compared with many conventional epoxy coatings, polyaspartic products generally offer better UV stability. This makes them less likely to yellow or discolour when exposed to sunlight—an important consideration around garage entrances and other areas receiving direct UV exposure.

Polyaspartic coatings also cure quickly, but this requires careful application. The limited working time means that mixing ratios, batch sizes, floor temperature and application sequence must be properly controlled. Temperature affects both viscosity and curing speed, while moisture conditions and the concrete’s condition must be assessed before coating.

The coating is only one part of a successful flooring system. Correct preparation is critical. We mechanically grind the concrete to remove contamination, weak surface material and existing coatings while creating a suitable surface profile. Cracks and defects are repaired before the primer, decorative flake layer and protective clear coats are applied.

When the substrate and coating system are properly specified and prepared, polyaspartic provides a seamless, durable and easy-to-maintain finish suitable for garages, workshops and many light-commercial environments.

This is something we don't do every day, flaky floor coating of a boat. The old floor was slippery, peeling off, hard to clean, ugly. The new floor is non slip, easy to clean, very hard wearing, and the colours match the exterior of the boat.
