My Latest Weintek / Codesys Creation.......land based fish farm feeding system

I have completely rebuilt the control system for this existing feeding system that feeds up to 12 tanks from 2 hoppers.
The old control system was not fit for purpose, The main issue was not having a feed scheduler, so the customer had to have someone on standby to initiate each feed and feeding could only be done during work hrs, creating lots of issues with overfeeding, water quality and waste.
The new system fixes all of that, Plus I have also added in custom features that the customer had requested.

Running a Weintek 10" cMT3108XP HMI with Codesys Soft PLC, EasyAccess2.0, and Using Ethernet/IP Remote IO From Odot.
I have already done some Remote Program alterations, using EasyAccess2.0 and the built in PLC pass through, Making remote changes to the HMI and PLC very simple, and no requirement to go to site for basic changes.
And with push notifications, to staff smart phones, set up for fault status, hopper level warnings makes it a breeze to maintain / monitor the system.
This has been a leap forward in the companies feeding and water filtration processes.

Few screen shots of a 7" Weintek cMTx HMI we recently done for a customer.
The old HMI had lost its touch, so we uploaded a copy of the PLC program and made this new easy to use and navigate layout.
Also made a full user manual to go with it on the operation of the new HMI.

We have recently done an upgrade on a large mixing/mincing machine.
The old operator interface was near imposable for the average person to operate and creating a mixing recipe was problematic to say the least.

We wrote new plc code and installed a beckhoff PLC with some added features. Disgned a new Weintek HMI layout, install and commissioned.

Now the operation is straight forward and recipe creation is as simple as it gets.

All faults and machine operation statuses are also displayed on the HMI. Along with the machine manual in pdf form.

Thursday was a trip to Auckland for some Servo drive fault finding on a production line. Back next year to carry out some repairs.
A successful day, but can't say I'm a fan of that traffic.
