It is situated centrally, with safe parking and is open 4 mornings a week. More than 200 families, from all economic backgrounds, access the Toy Library each year. Toy Libraries exist to offer families the chance to borrow toys that are often beyond their budget; providing play ideas; teaching children to share – borrow instead of buy, an opportunity to mix and meet other parents and share their
suggestions for a great toy from personal experience while having a coffee and home baking. We consult with our members, specialists and early childhood -teachers and constantly upgrade and recycle to add to our different categories. Our toys provide new experiences and a larger range of opportunity of creativity for young children. Play gear include: Ride–on; Water Play, Push/Pull, Sport and Outdoors; Pretend Play; Dolls; Baby & Educational toys; Construction; Art; Puzzles; Games and DVDs.
