JJ Roofing Ltd Whanganui

05/10/2026

Here at JJ we don't do just roof replacement - our team switch into repairs too when needed!! This roof had been replaced by another roofing company - but they didn't replace the flashings, so the owner still had a water feature in her house! We took before photo's and an after video. Another happy JJ customer :)
Did you know JJ are registered with MSD as an approved provider, along with working with most of the Property Management companies in Whanganui?
We are Roofing Association of New Zealand - RANZ members, our Foreman Paul holds LPB in Iron Roofing and Cladding, AND we can slit and fold our own flashings up to 2.4m long at our yard in Ridgway Street.

We highly recommend Whanganui Flooring Ltd. They have supplied and installed hard wearing carpet squares in our upstairs conference/classroom, as well as supplied/fitted carpet in J & J’s home AND Barred Up Scaffolding Ltd’s R & B’s home. Great group of lads who know their stuff!! If you need new flooring give the boys a holler!

This morning we had Troy from Whanganui Flooring sharing a bit about his business whilst apprentice Christian gave us a live demonstration of the carpet laying process!

The Whanganui Flooring team are experts on soft and resilient floor coverings and truely passionate about their trade.

Who's on your roof?

It's a simple question, but one every homeowner should ask before they re-roof.

Today we're launching our new consumer awareness campaign to help New Zealand homeowners make informed decisions before choosing a roofing contractor.

Whether you're planning a re-roof now or sometime in the future, our new campaign hub offers answers to some of the most common questions homeowners ask before work begins.

You'll also find:
✔ Our free Re-Roofing Guide
✔ A downloadable Homeowner Checklist
✔ Practical homeowner guidance
✔ Find a trusted RANZ Member

Knowing who's on your roof starts with asking the right questions.

Another recently completed project - Sometimes a full roof replacement isn't necessary - just SOME of it, we teamed up with Barred Up Scaffolding Ltd, and Rivercity Painting Ltd to get this lovely grand old lady sorted for her owners. JJ Roofing replaced 3 full faces of this roof, then Rivercity Painting prepped and painted the rest - matching the whole roof up beautifully in COLORSTEEL Karaka. = 2 Very Happy Owners!!

Technical details? Bullnoses? Neither slow us down :) Special thanks to Barred Up Scaffolding Ltd for keeping us and our subby's safe on this huge grand old lady in Wicksteed Street!!
Thanks to Mitchell Roofing Ltd. for smashing out the main lay, to Kelly Konstruct 2017 Ltd for some straight forward (and not so straight forward) prepaint building works, and to Rivercity Painting Ltd for painting windows/frames/new weatherboards as tasked by our clients. Our experienced LBP Roofer Paul (and Juan) rounded out the rejuvenation with a specialised "top cap", and Bullnoses - Grand Old Lady now ready for the next 50 years beautiful in COLORSTEEL Gull Grey.
