It was M & T Electrical sponsored tournament at Mahurangi East Bowls Club this week gone and i was fortunate enough to have a mate tag along and hand out the prizes. He had a blast…nibbles, fizzys and compliments to the cowboy he is definitely looking forward to his next attendance.
To the winners a very big congratulations and it was great to see many in attendance and even better to chat with those we hadn’t seen in a while. regardless of the result i’m sure bowls was the winner on the day.
until the next one
Tuesday 29th September. OAC Single Entry Pairs A couple of little spring showers did not dampen the spirits of our keen bowlers in our single entry teams competition, playing 4 games on B Green. The Warkworth team with 4 wins were Steve Saric, Danny Fairley and Cynthia Roper who are pictured here with the day’s sponsor, Purangataua (and son) from M&T Electrical. In second place were Harold Bailey, Roy Monteith and Marianna Loughnan. Congratulations.
