Playground revamp completed with More than maintenance. We removed the old bark and soil, cleared away the waste, and laid fresh bark.

Good to get this one sorted in time for summer, for our Naenae Kindergarten tamariki.

2 years down ā€” and weā€™re only just getting started.

Happy 2nd birthday to us! šŸŽ‚šŸ–¤šŸ§”

From starting out with an idea to building a solid crew, growing our workload and making a name for Roil Civil ā€” itā€™s pretty neat to look back at what weā€™ve built in just two years.

A massive shoutout to our crew of 4.5 ā€” the .5 being Koha šŸ• because apparently the broā€™s gone part-timeā€¦ what happened to No Days Off?! šŸ˜‚

Proud of how far weā€™ve come, grateful for everyone whoā€™s backed us along the way, and bloody excited for whatā€™s next.

Hereā€™s to year 3. šŸ‘ŠšŸ½

Mānawatia a Matariki, whakanuia a Puanga.

Whether you celebrate Matariki, Puanga, or both, we hope youā€™ve had the chance to pause, reflect, reset, and look ahead to the year to come.

As we welcome the Māori New Year, we want to say a huge ngā mihi to everyone whoā€™s supported Roil Civil along the way. Whether youā€™ve trusted us to complete some mahi, recommended us to others, or simply followed the journey - we appreciate it more than you know.

And yes, we did have a few days off, to also pause and reflect. We discovered Pat does better with dirt than snow. šŸ« ā›·ļø

Itā€™s been one hell of a year. Plenty of wins, plenty of lessons, and weā€™re incredibly humbled by the aroha and support weā€™ve received from our whānau, clients, and mates.

Weā€™re excited for what this next year has in store.

From our whānau/our Roil Civil whānau to yours ā€” we wish you a safe and meaningful Māori New Year.

Welly weather, ehā€¦ šŸŒ§ļøšŸ˜‚

One minute itā€™s a backyardā€¦ next minute itā€™s a bloody swimming pool. If youā€™ve been on Facebook lately, youā€™ll know exactly what weā€™re talking about.

Good news for this whānau though, they can chuck the dive gear and Red Bands back in the shed.

We came in, levelled the section and poured a tidy concrete pad. Now theyā€™ve got somewhere solid to park up with a morning coffee, light a dart, have a b**r after mahi, or relax..

No more gumboots. No more mud. Just a good space that actually gets used.
