New engineered flooring has been ordered, requiring 100m² of existing flooring to be cut out and removed to meet tight project deadlines.

Challenge: Stubborn old tiles that were difficult to remove.

Concrete laid, levelled, and floated ✔️

Next up: Sika New Zealand . Applied to the surface, it allows us to create a stunning exposed aggregate finish.

After 12–18 hours, we water blast away the top layer to reveal the natural stone beneath and bring the concrete to life.

After a big few days of ground prep, boxing, setting levels, heights and mesh, we were finally ready to pour.

Our clients chose an exposed aggregate finish for their paths, so timing was everything when applying Sika Rugasol concrete retarder.

The result? Stunning new paths that blend seamlessly with the existing concrete.
