This Is What Happens When You Bribe Wellington With a Really Good Prize... BOLD AS GOLD: Where dignity goes to die!!

At Bold As Gold, people don’t just dress up – they abandon any remaining sense of restraint and hurl themselves head‑first into a glitter vortex where dignity goes to die in a shower of sequins and hot glue.

We’ve had human skyscrapers balancing entire golden cityscapes on their heads, caped crusaders who appear to have mugged a craft store, and guests so thoroughly spray-painted they’re still finding gold in their ears three weeks later.

One contender arrived in a suit so shiny the lighting techs had to dim the spots, while another came encased in a full metallic creature costume that made sitting down a distant, pre-costume memory.

By the time the judges are done, the carpet looks like a bullion heist, the photos look like stills from a very glamorous sci-fi film, and everyone silently agrees: for a prize this good, there is no such thing as “too much gold.”

These are just a few winners (and a runner up - Alan Doak) over the years more to come....
