🔥 Intumescent coating underway 🔥
We’ve been busy spraying an intumescent coating system to these feature MDF wall panels.

In the event of a fire, the coating expands to create a protective barrier, helping reduce flame spread and improving the fire performance of the panels.
Spraying allows us to achieve:

✅ Even coverage across the detailed panels
✅ A clean, consistent finish
✅ Improved fire protection
✅ Compliance with the specified coating system

Careful masking and preparation are essential to protect the surrounding finished surfaces and achieve a quality result.

Another fence transformation complete! 🎨👌

We had the pleasure of giving this fence a fresh new look for another great client, and we were very well looked after along the way.

Pretty sure we spent as much time drinking cups of tea as we did painting — a fresh one seemed to appear every 5 minutes! 😂☕ At this rate, we might have to start adding “tea breaks” into our quotes.

Thanks again to our awesome client for keeping the brews flowing and trusting Tartan Painting & Decorating with the job.

School holidays can only mean one thing... unpaid child labour! 😆🎨

Before anyone gets too excited, Poppy was promoted straight to Site Supervisor for the day.

Her main duties included quality control, snack inspections, asking 47 questions an hour, and making sure the boys weren't taking too many smoko breaks.

🏗️ Majestic Centre Stairwell Complete 🎨✨

Not every staircase gets the VIP treatment, but this one certainly did.
We've recently completed the spraying and finishing of the steel staircase and bulkheads at the Majestic Centre,Wellington
Spraying steelwork is all about precision—delivering a smooth, consistent finish while working around a busy commercial environment.

The result? A fresh, durable coating that not only protects the steel but gives the entire stairwell a sharp, modern look.
A big thank you to our client and everyone involved in making this project a success. It's always rewarding to leave a space looking its best.
