A good reminder to have your plumbing checked regularly — leaks like this often start small and get worse over time.

The client came to us with high power bills and wet carpet. Other contractors couldn’t find the cause. Gerard had the leak located within an hour - a failed pipe buried under the concrete slab.

What we did:

- Traced the leak under the slab with accurate testing
- Cut and excavated the concrete for clean, safe access
- Bypassed the failed pipework and checked the surrounding area
- Ran a new 100 mm duct with fresh pipework inside to future‑proof the line
- Backfilled, compacted, concreted and left the area ready for reinstatement

A hidden leak causing major damage - diagnosed quickly, fixed properly, and rebuilt for long‑term reliability.
