Here’s an update on our Ahuroa project, where we’ve recently wrapped up our contribution to this exciting build. It’s been awesome to see the project come together, and it’s well on its way to becoming an amazing Airbnb getaway.

The clients decided to make the deck larger and wrap around the two tiny pods which was a great idea. The covered deck area creates a whole new outdoor living space perfect for the longer nights coming up.
Thank you to Rees Roofing, CnC Dirtworks and Tony from Burnetts Transport and Earthmoving who we worked closely with, and a massive thanks to our clients for trusting us with this project (and for the delicious smokos provided).

This has been an awesome project close to home as it’s actually at my brother and sister in laws place. They had a ginormous deck and decided to put a pool into it to make better use of the space. We jumped in to make the deck a little bigger and re instate new kwila decking but joining back to the original joins of the deck to make it seem as it was always there once it ages off. Can’t wait to use this pool for the upcoming summer!

Here’s been a nice project we’ve been doing in Ahuroa. Building the sub structure to land these two tiny home pods to become an epic Air B n B in the country side! Still to come is lay the decking and build a covered roof over the deck area to create an awesome outdoor experience. Thank you to our awesome clients and also all the smoko they bring out to us!

It’s been a while since we did an update on our Guy Road project, but we’ve finished framing the covered deck area and started the soffit. We also installed two new french doors that open onto the deck which has created a whole new space for the living room and bedroom. Here’s an update on our Guy Road job. Roof is on, and we made a start on the cladding but while we were waiting for our joinery we decided to crack on with the deck and covered deck area which will create a nice dry space over looking Kaipara Flats.

Some progress of our Guy Road job. We’ve had some good fun in the mud! So we are stoked to have a week or so to dry everything out! We decided to build the frames ourselves on site as the original existing house is about 40mm out of level. We also carried on with the deck framing and installed these beautiful Glulam posts. Trusses this week and hopefully have her enclosed in the next few weeks.
