Do these older style plug sockets look familiar?
These can be a safety concern within your home, on some the earth pin separates from the plug and doesn’t make contact. This means that anything plugged in won’t be earthed, potentially causing unwanted electrical shocks if an appliance is faulty.

Sick of the Auckland traffic, or have you just moved north ?!?
I am on the search for a good licensed electrician to join my team, me and an apprentice, Ideally i am looking for an all round sparky for small jobbing works, and renovations and the occasional house project, but I also know how hard it is at the moment to find anyone so am open to all options and skill sets of licensed electricians. I am based in Warkworth and work all over Rodney from Whangaparaoa to Mangawhai, The package will come with a van, phone, etc, and good rates with OT,

When you have a leak and some furry friends like the taste of the cable insulation this is what could happen, luckily it was tripping the circuit breaker. Yesterday's fun find, got sent to this property which had power tripping issues, cut and replaced cable.
