So I had a quick count up...

Looks like I'm growing 120+ varieties of Dahlia this year 🤣🫢 (Plus over 100 seedlings)

How did that happen?
Last year I think it was about 50 🤦‍♀️

That's not counting all the Chryssies, Cosmos, and other assorted pretties too. I can't wait!

I kept the happy little peach single at the front - it's not perfect but i love the colour!

The one i most desperately wanted to grow on... flowered for ages, never blew it's centre & was the most delicate, perfect shade of soft yellow...

No tubers survived xx

There's always this season to try again.

So I just had a nosy and I'm at 1398 followers... holy heck, how did that happen?? 😳

I've decided to give a FREE Edinburgh tuber to my 1400th follower - free postage to town address or $6 to rural (cause rural postage is just Ouch!)
(NZ only sorry xx). Edinburgh is an oldie but a goodie!

Its been a while since I posted - free time taken up with ponies, work and yet another infection (the irony of being allergic to horses and pollen - didn't I picked the wrong hobbies 🤣🫣)

But I've also been busy growing seedlings (all sorts, not just dahlias), trying to get beds prepped in this unusually wet South Otago winter, and making sure the tubers are all waking.
Not enough shoot length on any yet to get cuttings, but they are raring to go!
