Lakes Landscapes

We create extraordinary outdoor spaces.

Offering the complete package with in house designing, Lakes Landscapes can create and manage your dream garden to work for your lifestyle, architecture and environment in the Lake Wanaka area. With extensive experience in both the design and construction side of landscaping, it was only a matter of time for Chris Jones to go out on his own with his Landscaping. From managing businesses to winning awards at the RHS Chelsea Flower show in London, Chris has proved himself and established a positive reputation as a landscaper and a landscape designer around the region. During his time at the University of Otago, Chris gained his design degree, and then went on to study horticulture at the polytechnic there, then moving to Wanaka not long after his study to pursue his Landscaping career, Chris started from the bottom and has learnt a lot in the last ten years. They say nothing beats experience, this rings true for someone like Chris Jones who has had a passion for designing landscape plans from day one of his career. Lakes Landscapes offers not only his expert design skills, but also the construction side of landscaping, seeing the job right through from start to finish.

Having lived in Australia for many years our clients really wanted to create an urban garden with wow factor. As avid gardeners they weren’t shy about getting into the garden and maintaining its beauty. As big fans of well known landscape designer Paul Bangay, inspiration was taken from his style. This intimate courtyard has been designed to relax and enjoy while still boasting that wow factor. Timeless with the planting of trees for privacy and shade, our clients can sit back and enjoy their space while listening to the tranquil water feature.

We are your award winning local Wanaka landscape design and construction business and are now taking bookings for Spring to create your extraordinary outdoor space.
