BT Earthworks is looking for a reliable and hardworking Truck Driver to join our growing team.
We are a Hawke’s Bay based civil and earthworks company involved in a range of projects including drainage, earthworks, roading, site works, and general civil construction.
The role includes operating truck and trailer units to transport machinery, aggregates, spoil, and materials to and from worksites throughout Hawke’s Bay and surrounding areas. There may also be opportunities to assist with machinery operation and general site works where required.
Key Responsibilities
Safe operation of company trucks and equipment
Loading, carting, and unloading materials and machinery
Completing daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
Maintaining accurate logbooks and paperwork
Following company health and safety procedures
Working alongside site crews and clients professionally
Assisting with general labouring/site duties when required
What We Are Looking For
Full Class 5 licence preferred
WTR endorsements an advantage
Civil, roading, or earthworks experience preferred
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Commitment to health and safety
