⚡ IT’S ONLY FOUR YEARS OLD… WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE WRONG?
Quite a bit, as it turns out.
I recently inspected a four-year-old home and found several issues at the switchboard that you simply wouldn’t expect in such a new property — including poor labelling, installation issues and a 25mm² main neutral with copper strands cut off just to make it fit the terminal. 😱
A newer home doesn’t automatically mean the electrical work has been done correctly.
That’s exactly why I specialise in pre-purchase electrical inspections. I take the time to look closely, test the installation and provide a clear, easy-to-understand report so you know what you’re buying before you buy it.
I also provide rental electrical inspections, along with domestic and commercial electrical work throughout South Canterbury and North Otago.
