This cowshed’s had a bit of love this season too, with some shiny new GEA Farming - New Zealand ICR+ cup removers and brand new GEA AutoPuls pulsators.

The AutoPuls units replace the old EP40 workhorses that had been in there since Noah was a boy.

A solid upgrade to bring the shed up to date and keep things running reliably for plenty more seasons.

Another retrofit GEA ICR+ cup remover install to half the cow shed.

Had to lean these guys over like Michael Jackson to make them fit the existing setup, but they’re in, working well and the customer is chuffed with the result.

Another older shed brought up to speed without needing to reinvent the whole place.

Out with the old and in with the new on a 50 bail rotary.

We removed the two existing and tired water ring vacuum pumps and replaced them with a new GEA 15 kW blower system between milkings.

Our fitters installed the blower, interceptor and associated pipework, including the engineering and fabrication required for the new exhaust system.

Our in house electricians completed the new electrical circuit, installed the 15 kW variable speed drive and carried out the final setup and commissioning.

The 15 kW blower was selected to provide plenty of available airflow for the 50 bail plant rather than running an undersized system too close to its limit.

A good example of the benefit of having the whole job handled under one roof.

Our next big project is underway out Netherton.

are building the shed now, handling all the concrete works, and the platform pad is already poured.

Once the build is up, our team will be installing:
🥛 GEA Farming - New Zealand T8500 40 bail rotary
💦 In-deck teat spray
🤖 IQR+ cup removers and retention arms
🌾 In-bail feeding
🚪 Drafting gate
⚡ Plus all the water and electrical works

It's been a long wait with the preload taking longer than expected, but we're excited to get stuck into this one and get the farmer milking.

Another install of some GEA Farming - New Zealand ICR+ Cup removers near Whangamata to help the farmer during milking. The farmer considered other brands as an option but our price and quality product were too hard to turn down 💪

Not ideal having to strip down to your daks on a freezing day like today!

When a sump pump fails on a rotary causing it to flood you gotta do what you gotta do. Love a rainy Saturday.
