Choose the finish for the mood you want.

Sumiyaki brings the deepest char, Kindai softens it with brushed texture, and Hikari lifts the surface with lighter contrast.

At the lap. That clean boundary does two jobs: protects the weather seal and making the finish look intentional.

Knotty timber becomes spotty timber.

In charred cedar, knots are denser than surrounding timber. They char differently, weather differently, and expose lighter areas as carbon wears away.

The result is a patchier, less consistent surface over time.
