🎫HELP WANTED: Looking for someone who needs a direction, not just a job.

We are looking for a casual employee to join the team, but we want to do things a little differently this time.

Are you a young person (or do you know one) who is currently feeling a bit lost, wayward, or stuck on the wrong track? Maybe school wasn’t your thing, maybe you’ve made a few mistakes, or maybe you just haven’t figured out your next step yet.

We don’t care about a perfect resume. We care about potential.

We are looking for someone who is ready to turn things around. We will provide the training, the structure, and the mentorship to help put you on the right path—you just need to bring the willingness to show up and learn.

What we offer:

Casual hours with honest pay.

Hands-on training (no experience required).

A supportive environment where mistakes are treated as lessons, not dealbreakers.

Real life and work skills to help set up your future.

What we expect:

You show up on time.

You listen and respect the team.

If you’re ready to work hard and change your trajectory, or if you know a young person who just needs a solid mentor and a fair shot, send us a direct message or drop a comment below.

Let’s build something better. 🤝

Timaru, that recent wild weather didn’t just wreck our weekend plans—it absolutely gutted our driveways.

If you’ve noticed new dips, expanding cracks, or actual craters forming over the last few days, you aren’t alone.

Here is what’s happening right now: That intense rainwater has trapped itself under your asphalt. Every time you drive over it, your car acts like a hydraulic pump, blasting away the foundation beneath. If left alone, a small crack today becomes a massive, tyre-popping pothole by next month.

Don’t let a temporary storm cause permanent, expensive damage to your property value.

At BLACK GOLD ASPHALT, we specialize in professional asphalt repairs, commercial-grade pothole filling, and full driveway resurfacing right here in the Timaru District. We fix the underlying base foundation so the repair actually lasts through the next storm.
