☀️ Photo of the Week!

What a beautiful day, and what a fantastic-looking pool! Looking fresh and vibrant, just in time for the warmer months ahead.

There’s nothing better than seeing local spaces looking their best and ready to be enjoyed by the community.

Here’s to longer days, warmer weather and a great summer ahead! ☀️

That first stripe of colour across bare concrete never gets old. ✨
Here’s Flans, mid-roll on a fresh floor -
and while the finished result looks effortless, there’s plenty of work that happens before that first coat goes down.

A little prep goes a long way, protecting the surrounding areas and getting the concrete ready for a smooth, even finish.

The result? A tough, easy-to-clean floor designed for real life, with all the hard work quietly doing its job underneath the finish.

It’s the preparation you don’t see that makes the difference. 👌

💭 A great day of learning, connection & fresh thinking

We recently brought the team together for a fantastic staff training day with Uncommon Sense, and what a great day it was!
It was a chance to step away from the day-to-day, spend some time together and look at how we communicate, connect and make decisions as a team.

There were plenty of great conversations, new ideas and a few moments that definitely got us thinking! 👏🏼
We’re big believers that investing in our people is just as important as investing in the work we do. When our team grows, we grow together.

A huge thank you to the team at Uncommon Sense for a valuable, engaging and enjoyable day. 🙌🏼
Now… back to work with plenty of new ideas to put into practice! 💪🏼

Awesome to see Ryan back behind the wheel of the RX8 and getting some testing in ahead of R1 of the Mazda Pro8 New Zealand Series! 🏁🔥

Looking good, Ryan! Great to see the car coming together and ready to hit the track. All the best for the season ahead - we’re proud to be part of the journey! 💪

🚗✨ Things are coming along nicely!
We’ve been loving working alongside our friends at Centra Motor Co. South Canterbury (Hyundai & Isuzu) and the team at Wilson Building on this project in Timaru, and we’re pretty happy with how things are shaping up!

It’s been great working alongside such a quality team of builders. Wilson Building are known for their high-quality workmanship, attention to detail and pride in what they do, and it’s always a pleasure working alongside a crew who shares the same standards. 👌

There’s still plenty to do, but the transformation is well underway - good progress, great teamwork and plenty of attention to detail all round.

We’ll be sharing more as this project comes together, so keep an eye out for the finished result! 👀✨

🏑 FROM THE WEE FELLA WE BACKED… TO THE JUNIOR BLACK STICKS. 🇳🇿

It’s pretty special looking back at this journey.
We first started backing Ryan back in 2017, when he was a young South Canterbury U13 player with a hockey stick, a lot of potential and plenty of hockey still ahead of him.

Since then, we’ve watched him grow through South Canterbury hockey, Timaru Boys’ High School, the Rankin Cup, HSOB, the Alpiners, Harewood, Canterbury and now the Junior Black Sticks.

There have been plenty of kilometres travelled, teams shared, wins celebrated, lessons learnt and hard yards put in along the way.
And while the jerseys and the teams have changed, one thing hasn’t - the work Ryan has continued to put in.

We’re incredibly proud to have been able to support a local player from those early days and watch the journey unfold.
From South Canterbury to the black jersey.
Keep going, Ryan. We’ll be cheering you on. 🏑👊

☀️ It’s all in the detail…

Getting stuck into another job and giving this timber decking a well-deserved refresh. 👌

From the careful prep and masking to getting that coating down evenly, it’s the little details that make the big difference.

A fresh finish, a tidy job and another space brought back to life just in time for these warmer months. ✨
