🚧 Blake Downie Contracting is on the lookout for an all-round machine operator to join the team! 🚧

We cover a variety of work including dairy conversions, dairy track maintenance, river works and general contracting, so no two days are the same.

We’re after someone who can turn their hand to a bit of everything. Experience operating 14T & 22T diggers, loaders, trucks, tractors etc is a big advantage.

The ideal person will:
✔ Experience in the farming and earthworks industries is a plus
✔ Be willing to get stuck in and get their hands dirty
✔ Work well in a team environment
✔ Also be capable of working unsupervised
✔ Have a good work ethic and positive attitude

We’re an earthmoving company based in Temuka specialising in (civil earthworks and farm earth works , Tree work , ponds and underpasses) and we’re looking for an experienced Site Leader / Final Trim Operator to join our team.

The Role:

• Lead day-to-day site operations

• Precision final trim on civil and

residential projects

• Read plans and manage levels

• Keep jobs running safely and

efficiently

What We’re After:

• Proven final trim experience

• Confident leading a small crew

• laser experience

• Reliable and safety-focused

• Grader experience would be a

bonus but not necessary

• Must have references
