𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲: By negotiation
𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀: 40 hours per week (8:30am – 5:00pm)

Parengarenga Incorporation is seeking a highly organised and motivated Forestry Operations & Administration Coordinator to support our forestry team and help drive the successful delivery of our harvesting and silviculture programmes.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲
Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Harvest Manager and Silviculture Manager, you will provide operational, financial, compliance, and administration support across all forestry activities. The role includes reporting, GIS mapping, FSC administration, health and safety documentation, contractor support, and forestry financial administration.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Support harvesting and silviculture operations through effective administration and reporting
• Maintain forestry records, registers, mapping systems, and operational documentation
• Coordinate FSC certification and audit requirements
• Assist with GIS mapping, drone mark-ups, and monthly operational reporting
• Process forestry invoices, log dockets, budgets, and financial reporting information
• Support health & safety systems, CAR management, inductions, and compliance processes
• Provide administration support to Forestry Advisory Committee meetings and reporting requirements
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
• Previous administration or coordination experience
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with forestry operations, GIS systems, FSC certification, or financial administration would be advantageous
• Appreciation and understanding of tikanga Māori
