🔨 Next up in our Meet the Crew series… Quin Zander!

Quin is one of our builders, and it's his turn to take on the 3-word challenge!

He describes himself as “Easy-going, ambitious, genuine” — and outside of work, he's into sports, travelling and the occasional cheeky gamble! 😂

His favourite part of building?
“Seeing end result” 🏠🔨

And the best thing about working at Glen Armstrong Builders?
“Teamwork and banter” — there's definitely a common theme happening with these answers! 😂

As for his perfect smoko?
“Flat white, vape” ☕ — keeping it simple!

Stay tuned, there's still more of the crew to come! 👀🔨

🎉🔨 SHE'S OFFICIALLY QUALIFIED! 🔨🎉

A huge congratulations to Georgia, who received her official sign-off from BCITO today and is now a fully qualified builder! 👏

Georgia joined our team back in February, already well on her way to completing her apprenticeship. All she needed was the opportunity to prove what she was capable of, and she's certainly done that!

Since joining us, Georgia has shown her determination, hard work and passion for the trade, and today all that effort has paid off!

We're stoked to have been part of the final stretch of her journey and couldn't be prouder of her achievement.

Well done, Georgia! You've earned this one, and we're lucky to have you as part of the Glen Armstrong Builders team!

🔨 Next up in our Meet the Crew series… Georgia Robb! 👋

Georgia is one of our builders, and she's up next to tackle our 3-word challenge!

She describes herself as “Strong. Independent. Woman.” 💪 and when she's not on the tools, you'll find her hunting, baking or doing puzzles!

Her favourite part of building?
“Making s**t happen” 😂🔨

And the best thing about working at Glen Armstrong Builders?
“The bloody banter” — we're starting to see a bit of a theme with these answers! 😂

We love having Georgia as part of our crew. She certainly knows how to hold her own amongst the boys!

Thinking about building?

We’ve got 4 house & land packages available at The Hamlet on Rutherford in Waihou.

The best part is they’re fully customisable, so you’re not stuck with a cookie-cutter house. We can work with you to make the design suit what you want and how you live.

And if one of these packages isn’t quite what you’re after, there are also other sections available within The Hamlet — so there’s plenty of flexibility to create something that works for you.

They’ll be built by us, using local subcontractors and local businesses wherever we can.

If you’re keen to know more, flick us a PM and we can send through the plans, pricing and more info.

If building has been on your mind, come and have a chat! 🏡

🔨 WE’RE HIRING! 🔨

We’re on the hunt for a competent apprentice or tradesman to join the Glen Armstrong Builders team.

If you’re looking for somewhere you’ll actually be valued — not just another number on the payroll, then keep reading 👇

We’re a tight-knit crew who work hard, work together and have a good laugh along the way.

We take pride in what we build, back each other up, and when the tools are down, we’re not afraid to enjoy a few beers and a catch-up together 🍻

We’re looking for someone who:
🔨 Knows their stuff (or is keen to learn)
💪 Is reliable and willing to get stuck in
🤝 Works well as part of a team
😎 Doesn’t take themselves too seriously
🏠 Takes pride in doing a good job

Think you’d fit in? Give Glen a call 0274626101 or flick us a message.

And if you know someone who’d be a good fit, tag them below 👇

Next up in our Meet the Crew series… Hayden Topping 👋🔨

Hayden is one of our apprentices, and it was his turn to tackle our 3-word challenge!

Apparently he’s “Good with numbers”, loves “Sunny days outside” and reckons the best thing about working at Glen Armstrong Builders is “Everyone is awesome” — good answer, Hayden 😂👌

But his perfect smoko might be our favourite…

“Anything Andrew shouts”😂

Considering Andrew’s perfect smoko was “Sushi, Redbull, uninterrupted”, we think Hayden might be waiting a while!

First up in our Meet the Crew series… Andrew 👋🔨

Andrew has been part of the Glen Armstrong Builders team for 5½ years, so we thought it was about time you got to know him a little better!

We asked the team five questions, with one rule — answers had to be just 3 words 😂

Andrew’s answers pretty much speak for themselves… especially “Gibbing, Frames & 5pm” and apparently the best thing about working here is “Working with Hayden” 😂

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be introducing the rest of the crew and sharing their three-word answers too.

Stay tuned to see whos next 😉

A new role for a familiar face 👷‍♂️

After 9 years with Glen Armstrong Builders, Cody Povey is stepping into the role of Project Manager.

Cody’s been a big part of our team for a long time, and this is a natural next step for him. He’ll be working alongside Glen to help manage our projects, coordinate our team and subcontractors, and keep things running smoothly from start to finish.

He’ll still be out on site and on the tools — just with a few more phone calls and a bit more organising thrown in! 😂

A well-deserved step up. Congrats Cody! 👏

Same Cody. Bigger role. 🔨🏠
