A milestone moment in the Moonshine Road project for Porirua City Council 🌕

This impressive-looking 10m skewed flat panel bridge was the best fit for the site, creating a practical and cost-effective solution without overcomplicating what was actually needed.

A great example of challenging the standard approach, designing for the site, and keeping construction efficient from the start.

Massive shoutout to our team members Corey & Waka for capturing this epic angle in some pretty average weather!

We’re stoked to have received Highly Commended in the Environmental Award at Friday night’s 2026 Bay of Plenty CCNZ Hynds Construction Awards! 🏆

The recognition was for our George Creek No. 2 Bridge replacement project.

Working with Tiaki Wai, our team came up with a clever solution that significantly reduced environmental disruption around one of Wellington’s drinking water sources.

By increasing the bridge span from 7m to 12m, we avoided the need to divert the stream or carry out disruptive in-stream works, allowing the water to continue flowing naturally throughout construction.

Our approach also saved Wellington ratepayers $227,500!

A huge congratulations to everyone involved! A fantastic recognition of the team's innovative thinking and commitment to building smarter, more environmentally responsible bridges. 👏❤️🌿

Moonshine Road Bridge No. 3 is officially open! 🎉

A pretty special moment on Moonshine Road last week, as the local community came together to celebrate the opening of their new bridge!

Completed ahead of schedule for Porirua City Council, this project was a huge team effort, and it’s been fantastic to see such a positive response from the community.

Judging by the turnout (and the smiles!), it's safe to say the locals were pretty happy to have their bridge back.

A massive well done to everyone involved in this project. We're incredibly proud of the team's efforts and the positive feedback they've received.

Always nice to hear feedback like this!

A new bridge completed in under 13 days, helping keep local businesses moving.

Thanks for the shoutout, Elemental Coffee! ☕

The last couple of weeks were pretty testing with our main access out of the Roastery needing a bridge replacement, adding more time to our daily deliveries. Fantastic to have it done 👏 Big shout out to Bridge It NZ who smashed this job out in less than 13 days! Remarkable, considering how long some of the other projects around us have taken 😬

A new month, a new chance to score a $100 Prezzy Card! 💰

But first, congratulations to Liam Clayton, who correctly guessed last month’s mystery river! 👏

This month, we’re changing things up a little. Our team snapped this shot on the road from Tauranga to Wellington, along one of New Zealand’s most iconic stretches of road. Can you name it?

New boardwalk at Gilmour Reserve, ready for summer strolls! ☀️🌿

The team recently wrapped up this new timber boardwalk in Waihi for Hauraki District Council, replacing the existing boardwalk and giving this slice of the reserve a fresh upgrade.

A pretty scenic site for the week! 👌

Why are All Concrete bridges such a popular choice?

Heavy-duty, low maintenance and built for the long haul, there’s plenty to like about an All Concrete bridge.

Big week for our maintenance team in the King Country 👑🐄

Re-decking not one, not two, but three bridges across the same farm!

The old timber decks were removed, the existing steel beams cleaned up and given a fresh coat of protective paint to help prevent further rusting, before new precast concrete decks and galvanised handrails were installed.

Three bridges, three pretty satisfying transformations. Well done team!

Ever wondered what all that rock around a bridge is actually doing? 🪨

It’s called riprap, and it can play a pretty important role in protecting bridges and waterways from erosion and scour
