MEET THE TEAM — BREANA

Last but certainly not least in our Meet the Team series is Breana, our General Manager — otherwise known as the person who apparently does a bit of everything. 😂

Blogs? ✔️
Meetings? ✔️
Emails? ✔️
Schedules? ✔️
Keeping the boys in line? Absolutely. 😂

Breana is the one behind a lot of the day-to-day running of AirTechnologies NZ, making sure things keep moving, getting jobs done and generally keeping everything working behind the scenes.

Outside of AirTech, Breana is a busy mum of two toddlers, which means the working day doesn’t always look like a typical 9–5. You’ll often find her working during naps, negotiating through tantrums, squeezing things in between toddler chaos, or getting things done late at night and early in the morning.

And when she’s not working or mumming… she’s running.

So while Levi brings the HVAC expertise, Jono brings the electrical knowledge (and the laughs), Breana brings the organisation, technology, marketing and whatever else needs doing to keep AirTech moving forward.

Basically, she keeps things working. At AirTech and apparently everywhere else too. 👋

And that’s the AirTech team! 🇳🇿

👋 MEET THE TEAM — JONATHAN (JONO)

Next up in our Meet the Team series is our other director, Jonathan — or Jono, as everyone calls him.

With 25 years of experience in the electrical industry, Jono brings a wealth of hands-on knowledge and experience to the AirTech team.

Jono met Levi through the industry and first heard about Levi’s idea for AirTechnologies NZ. Once he learnt more about the products and the potential of UVC technology, he was just as excited to get behind the idea and help bring UVC into the New Zealand market. 🔬💡

Between Levi’s HVAC background and Jono’s electrical experience, AirTech was a pretty natural fit — combining two areas of expertise to help solve real-world HVAC and heat pump problems.

Jono is also the one who brings plenty of laughs, banter and good chat to the team. 😂

When he’s not working, Jono is a dad to two toddlers, so life is certainly busy! He lives in Tauranga and is a big fan of all things fishing. 🎣

And anothee thing… he absolutely hates being in front of the camera. So if you ever wonder why you never see him in our videos or social media content — now you know. We’ve tried. He’s having none of it!

When he’s not on the tools, behind the computer or avoiding the camera, you’ll probably find him somewhere beside a lake with a fishing rod in hand.

25 years in the electrical industry, a passion for UVC, plenty of laughs, and a serious love of fishing — that’s Jono. 👋🎣

👋 MEET THE TEAM — LEVI

First up in our Meet the Team series is one of our directors, Levi.

With 28 years in the HVAC industry, Levi has seen just about everything when it comes to heating, cooling and ventilation. Over the years, he became increasingly frustrated seeing the condition of HVAC systems and heat pumps — and started looking into what could be done differently.

That’s where his passion for UVC technology began. 🔬💡

Levi spent countless hours researching, learning and understanding how UVC could help tackle some of the challenges he was seeing in HVAC systems — from microbial growth and biofilm to keeping coils and internal components cleaner.

That passion ultimately led to the creation of AirTechnologies NZ, alongside Jonathan and Breana, with a simple goal: bring this technology to New Zealand and help solve real-world HVAC and heat pump problems.

When he’s not talking UVC or HVAC, Levi is a husband and dad, living in sunny Mount Maunganui ☀️🌊. He’s a big football fan, and if you’ve ever spoken to him, you’ll probably have noticed the unmistakable English accent! 🇬🇧⚽

We’re lucky to have his 28 years of industry experience, technical knowledge and genuine passion for what we do behind AirTech.

So, that’s Levi. 👋

Our AT10 UVC systems are officially SOLD OUT 🙌

The AT10 has been a popular choice for high-wall heat pumps, providing UVC treatment directly within suitable systems to help manage microbial build-up and support indoor air quality.

Our AT30 is also now LIMITED STOCK.

The AT30 is designed for ducted heat pumps and larger HVAC applications, providing continuous UVC treatment of the air stream and exposed surfaces.

Good news: our next shipment is already on its way, with both AT10 and AT30 units expected to be back in stock within the next couple of weeks.

Another AT30 installed 🔵

Yesterday we installed another AirTechnologies AT30 UVC system, helping address a common HVAC challenge: frequent cleaning, difficult-to-access components and ongoing internal build-up.

Moisture, dust and organic material can accumulate on HVAC coils and internal surfaces over time, creating conditions that can support microbial growth and affect system performance.

Our AT30 UVC system is installed directly into the ductwork to provide continuous UVC treatment while the HVAC system operates.
