One we’ve been looking forward to seeing come together. 👌

This country farmhouse in Manawahe is starting to take shape, with Brickworks New Zealand brick and antique white mortar giving it that classic farmhouse feel.

There’s plenty more to come on this one. Built by Landmark Homes NZ Whakatāne and set to be entered into RMBA House of the Year.

Definitely one to keep an eye on as it comes together. 👀

What a morning on site ☀️

The team getting stuck into this blockwork job, retaining and levelling the site to create a nice flat area, with the side walls forming the steps up.

Beautiful established trees around the site, a cracking day, and plenty of solid blockwork taking shape.

Good team, good workmanship, good day on the tools. 👌

Another five-star review from a happy client Reside Construction ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We really appreciate the kind words and the trust our clients place in our team. From the first quote through to the job itself, good communication, solid advice and quality workmanship are what we aim for every time.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review — it means a lot to the team.

Another month, another chance to give back. 🙌

Each month, one of the team chooses a cause close to them, and we make a $100 donation on their behalf.

This month it was Clint’s turn, and he chose the Salvation Army.

It’s a small way for us to support organisations doing good work in our community, and we love that the choice comes from the people on the tools. 👏

Every detail matters when the brickwork is designed to make a statement. 🧱

For this stunning new build with Landmark Homes NZ , we completed the full block basement along with eleven stack-bonded columns reaching up to 6 metres high. Precision was key to achieving the clean architectural lines that define this home.

Proud to have been part of another RMBA House of the Year award-winning project, delivering brick and block work that’s built to perform and crafted to last.

Nothing beats the first brick job of spring. ☀️

Blue skies, sunshine, and a beautiful rural Waihi setting made this one a pleasure to be on.

We don’t often get the chance to lay bricks with this much character, and that’s exactly what makes projects like these so rewarding. Every brick adds its own personality, and it’s great to see it all coming together.

Looking forward to seeing this home take shape.

Meet Kingi, the latest addition to the Western Bay Bricklayers crew as a labourer.

A proud Tauranga local, Kingi has settled into site life quickly and has been getting stuck into a wide range of work across our projects. He’s picking things up quickly, backing in wherever needed, and bringing good energy to the team.

When he’s not on the tools, you’ll usually find him at the gym or training and staying active.

We’re stoked to have you on the crew, Kingi. Welcome to the team! 💪🧱

Bringing new life to old brickwork. 🧱

This renovation was all about preserving the character of the original home while building for the future. We carried out extensive remedial brickwork, constructed the new block foundations, and completed the brickwork for the extension—carefully blending the old with the new.

Proud to have been part of this 2026 Gold award-winning renovation for RMBA House of the Year alongside Keam Construction, where quality craftsmanship made all the difference.

The work might change from site to site but the standard never does.

Our crew takes pride in getting the details right, working as a team and delivering quality workmanship every time we’re on the tools 🧰 🧱
