Mid-floor installation at Wikihouse 🛠️

•Large pieces of ply are used and placed on the Hy-joist beams to create the mid-floor
•Glue is placed on the beams before laying the ply
•One side of the ply has an empty cut in it and the other side has a yellow plastic piece which slots into the piece beside it to stop it bowing at the join
•Once placed it is secured in by hammering it into the right place
•It is then nailed on each corner and all around the edges that sit on top of the beams

Oceana Drive is another one of the projects Koa is currently working on.

This is a 2 story build house. The slab pour has been done, all the framing is up and just this week the roof has gone on too!

We’re hiring a Qualified Builder to join the KOA crew.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can think for themselves, and wants to be part of a team building quality residential projects across Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty.

Our work ranges from renovations and alterations through to new builds and more detailed architectural work, so we’re after someone with solid carpentry skills, a good attitude, and high standards on site.
