Always happy to get behind Ladies Day at SERSC!

A huge thank you to this amazing group of sponsors who got behind our annual Ladies Day last Saturday. 💕

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to offer some incredible prizes throughout the event — something that simply wouldn’t be possible without your support.

We’re also proud to share that we raised $400 from raffles for Breastcare Taranaki, and we’ll be making an additional donation from ticket sales.

What a day, ladies — an incredible success! 🙌
And as always, you can judge just how good the night was by the number of cars outside the clubrooms on Sunday morning… there were cars everywhere! 🚗

Planning for next year has already begun!

Stoked to have worked alongside Nebulite on the build. Well done team!

Huge congrats to Daniel and the Nebulite® Taranaki team! Their Mill House project has just been named a Finalist in the 2026 Window & Glass Association NZ Design Awards (Residential – Lower North Island category).

Recognised for its innovative detailing and its demonstration of how thoughtfully designed aluminium joinery can enhance light, privacy, and architectural expression within a constrained urban site, the project incorporates custom shrouds and coloured glazing solutions that deliver both performance and character while elevating a cost‑conscious build.

Well done to the team – this is a prime example of considered design, technical problem‑solving, and collaborative delivery.

New Classroom at Te Rangimārie

The building was constructed off-site and carefully moved into position, making the whole process incredibly efficient.

It includes a bathroom, kitchen, two separate sensory rooms, and a large open learning space designed to support a range of needs.

To connect everything together, we’ve also added a deck between the existing and new classroom, along with ramps to ensure easy and inclusive access for all.

We’re very happy with this new space and can’t wait to see it students for years to come.

Was great to be a part of this project which saw us build a new classroom at Te Rangimārie. More photos to follow...

We recently completed a successful reclad using James Hardie Oblique weatherboard — a massive upgrade on this home after the original plaster cladding started cracking. We also upgraded the aluminium joinery to double glazing, improving both comfort and efficiency.

Huge thanks to the homeowners, especially to Carol who looked after the crew brilliantly (and makes a seriously good lasagna 👌). Her husband Pete was also on site… grumpy most of the time, but he came round in the end 😉.

Check out the before and afters to see the transformation.

Cheers to Nebulite Taranaki for the windows.

It’s been a while between posts, but we’ve been busy putting the finishing touches on some big projects over the past few months.

Here’s a brand new rotary cowshed that snuck its first milking in just before Christmas — one heck of an early Chrissy present for this farming family.

This 50-bail rotary shed is designed for efficiency and ease of use, featuring a fold-down vet platform and underpass for safe, practical access.

After many years milking in a small herringbone shed, this build was a well-earned upgrade for a hardworking farming family.

The shed includes in-shed feeding supported by two silos, along with a wash room, pump room, kitchenette/office, vet room, and a self-contained chemical shed.

The yard layout supports smooth stock flow, with a vet race, holding pens, automated drafting system, and loading ramp. Both yard gates are fitted with Yard Scrappers, designed and installed by Mark Duthie Engineering Limited, helping keep things clean and running efficiently.

You might notice the yards aren’t looking as sharp as they usually would — the shed had limited water supply when these photos were taken, so they couldn’t be properly washed down.
