WL Contracting Ltd is a earthmoving business based in Marlborough, we specialise in driveways, drainage, culverts, slip repairs and general civil works.

We’re looking for a reliable all-rounder operator to join our growing team.

The role includes:
Operating excavators (and other machinery where needed)
Final trim / finishing work to a high standard
General earthworks, drainage and roading jobs
Working away from home on Marlborough Sounds projects when required

You must:
Be eperienced on excavators
Confident with final trim work
Reliable and turn up on time
Be happy with stay-away work when jobs require it
Have a good attitude and work well in a small team

Bonus if you have:
Class 2–4 licence (Class 5 a plus)
Civil construction experience
Good pay for the right person. Ongoing work available.

We’ve recently added a Tow-Behind Road Grader to the WL Contracting fleet, and it’s already changing the way we tackle gravel roads and driveways.

Unlike traditional grading, this machine breaks down and mixes the full road surface, then reshapes and crowns over a solid base, delivering a finish that holds up in real Marlborough conditions.
