This front lawn was getting pretty overgrown, quick mow and edge and it's a different property.

Crazy how much better a house looks once we give it a quick mow and edge.

Hi everyone

We had a great time getting these hedges back into shape after they got away from the owner over the last year or so. We are stroked with how they turned out.

If youโ€™re looking to get your hedges sorted, donโ€™t hesitate to reach out.

Our first full lawn reno is done and we're stoked with how it turned out! We mowed it short so the scarifier could really get in, then scarified out all the built up thatch. After that we overseeded and finished with a light top dressing to protect the seed while it gets going.

If your looking to get any outdoor work done outside feel free to give us a call on 022 426 0469 or flick us a message.

๐‡๐ข ๐“๐ž๐š๐ฆ! ๐Ÿ‘‹

I realised I've never properly introduced myself, so thought i would say hello.

I'm Louis, the owner of H&G Property Services. I live and work right here in Selwyn, and I've been running H&G for 8 months now. I've got around two years of experience in lawns and gardens so I know how much it matters to have a property looking its best and a tradesperson who actually turns up.

I started out the back of my little Mazda hatchback, and never could have upgraded without all of you. Every person who booked a mow, trusted me with their hedges or let me clean their gutters has helped me get a proper ute and trailer, better gear and a setup that lets me do the job right. It has also meant I can help people in need for free, which is something I'm really proud of. When you're just starting out, having someone give you a chance means everything, and this community did that for me. ๐“๐‡๐€๐๐Š ๐˜๐Ž๐”!

I can't wait to keep serving this community going forward, and I'm looking forward to meeting more of you!

All of this thatch and dead material was clogging up the grass and stopping sunlight, water and nutrients from reaching the roots. Once it's cleared out, the lawn can breathe again and bounce back thicker and greener as the warmer weather rolls in.

If your lawn feels spongy underfoot or looks like it could use some love, flick us a message or give us a call on 022 426 0469.
