A good example of how an extension can completely change the way an existing home is used. What was once a small doorway into the old conservatory is now a large opening connecting the main living areas directly with the new covered outdoor space and deck.

From a small, enclosed kitchen to a light-filled family living space.

The old kitchen and rear bedrooms were removed as part of a major reconfiguration of this 100 year old home, creating one generous open-plan kitchen, dining and living area.

New glazing and carefully positioned skylights completely changed the feeling of what was once a dark and disconnected part of the house.

One of the big changes to this home was creating a much stronger connection to the backyard.

The rear was rebuilt and opened onto a generous new deck, extending the living beyond the walls of the home and creating a great space to enjoy outdoors.

A significant transformation that changed much more than the appearance of this Wellington home. The new extension created a larger kitchen, dining and living area, with large-format glazing, a covered outdoor space and new deck all working together to make much better use of the home and its elevated site.

There’s something pretty special about bringing a character home back to life.

New roofing, cladding, windows and a reworked entrance have refreshed this early 1900s Wellington home while remaining sympathetic to its original style.

From what was → to what is.

A new extension, a whole lot more space, and a home transformed for the way our clients live.

Pretty satisfying before & after on this one.

A fresh start for one of the most dated spaces in the home.

The original bathroom was stripped back and completely rebuilt with a clean, contemporary finish, combining a freestanding bath, new vanity, tiling and updated fixtures.

A much calmer, more modern space that now feels at home with the rest of the renovation.

A recent NZ Proud renovation in Paekākāriki, where our team completely reworked this character coastal home to make better use of the space, natural light and surrounding views.

The ground floor was reconfigured to create open-plan kitchen, dining and living spaces, a new master suite and a relocated floating Rimu staircase. Full-width glazing, thermal double glazing, extensive recladding and a new deck completed the transformation inside and out.

A great example of how rethinking the layout of an existing home can completely change the way it works. More before and afters for this one to come.
