🌿 Sometimes a little refresh makes a BIG difference!

Getting your home ready to go on the market? You don't always need a complete garden overhaul to make a lasting first impression.

For this recent project in Pokeno, our customers wanted to freshen up their outdoor space before putting their property on the market.

Rather than starting from scratch, our team worked with what was already there — tidying and trimming existing plants, introducing some fresh planting, adding new mulch, installing pavers and finishing the garden with new edging.

And what a transformation! 😍

The existing greenery now sits beautifully alongside the new additions, creating a tidy, welcoming garden that feels fresh without losing its established character.

Sometimes it's not about replacing everything. It's about seeing the potential in what's already there.

Caught in the wild 👀🌿

A few of the Ace Landscapes crew hard at work on a DW Homes show home in Clevedon, getting stuck into the landscaping and bringing the outdoor spaces together.

We don't often get professional action shots of the team doing what they do every day, so these were a pretty cool surprise!

A huge shoutout to Morley Media, who happened to be on site for a shoot and spotted our guys hard at work on her way out. She was kind enough to capture a few shots and send them through to us — and we couldn't resist sharing them.

Nothing staged here — just the Ace team, a Bobcat, a few wheelbarrows and another landscape taking shape. 💪🌱

🐈 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝘁, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱?

Meet 𝗢𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘁®.

For this recent fencing project, we installed an Oscillot cat containment system along the top of the new timber fence — helping the homeowners keep their feline family member safely within their own backyard.

Oscillot uses rotating paddles that prevent cats from getting the grip they need to climb over the fence. It's discreet, cat-friendly and doesn't require cages, netting or electric fencing.

And as you can see from this finished fence, it blends in surprisingly well.

🏊 Now you see it… now you don't. 👋

Yep — there used to be a swimming pool here.

This Auckland property had a leaking pool and deteriorating paving that were no longer working for the space, so our team was brought in to decommission the pool and give the backyard a completely new purpose.

Pool equipment and liner removed ✔️
Old paving removed ✔️
Pool backfilled and consolidated ✔️
Fresh lawn soil ✔️
New lawn on the way ✔️

What was once an ageing pool area is being transformed into a practical, lower-maintenance backyard with plenty of usable green space.

Sometimes a landscape transformation isn't about adding something new.

Sometimes it's about getting rid of what you no longer need.

🌱 Spring is here… time to get growing!

There's something pretty satisfying about walking outside and picking dinner straight from your own garden. 🥬🥦

We created this raised vege garden for a customer in Onewhero, giving them plenty of dedicated growing space while making the vege garden feel like a proper part of the landscape.

A little paving can completely change how an outdoor space works. 👌

This Pukekohe project wasn't about ripping everything out and starting again.

Our team completed an unfinished section of Holland paving, preparing the base and carefully tying the new area into the existing pavers. We also lifted and reinstated an area that had sunk over time to bring it back to a level finish.

The result? A much more usable outdoor area and a finish that feels like it belongs there.
