Aotea Electric Queenstown is looking for an experienced service technician (EST or Electrician) to join our outstanding team at our workshop in Queenstown. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience repairing power tools and builders' equipment, including all the popular brands of electric to battery-operated power tools, test and tag, commercial kitchen appliances, commercial vacuum cleaners, pumps, and various other appliances that are brought in by our clients for repair.

The skills we absolutely cannot do without are:
-Proven experience in the relevant position
-Hold a New Zealand EST Registration and current practising licence
-Excellent mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
-Experience with commercial kitchen equipment and builders’ equipment
Self-management and self-motivation abilities
-Willingness to learn and contribute to the team's success
-Strong communication skills, time management and organisational skills are crucial for engaging with our clients
-The ability to work unsupervised
-Ability to complete documentation, client reports, Health and Safety paperwork, and experience using Microsoft programs.
-Full, current driver's licence
