If you want the garden looking good without spending your evenings dragging the hose around or constantly moving sprinklers, an automated watering system can make life a whole lot easier.

With warmer weather on the way, now is a good time to get it sorted.

No more remembering to get the hose out, moving sprinklers around or wondering if the garden has had enough water.

You can also set it to water automatically in the early morning, when it’s cooler and there’s less evaporation, so more of that water gets to the plants rather than disappearing in the heat.

Heading away or garden at the bach? No problem. Your watering can carry on while you're gone, so there is no need to worry about the garden.

Want to make watering the garden one less job to think about? Give Stu a call on 027 643 9222.

“It’s just a small job, I’ll sort it myself.”

Famous last words.

A few things we see pretty regularly:

❌ The dripping tap
“I’ll just replace the washer.” Sometimes it’s an easy fix. Sometimes the tap has other ideas.

❌ The leak under the sink
Tighten this, replace that, add a bit of sealant... and suddenly there are more bits on the kitchen floor than when you started.

❌ The blocked drain
A bit of drain cleaner might seem like the easy answer, but it’s not always the best way to deal with a blockage.

❌ The little leak outside
“It’s been like that for a while, I’ll get to it.” Small leaks don't always stay small.

❌ Anything involving gas
That's one to leave to a licensed gasfitter. Gas work isn't worth taking a chance on.

If you're thinking about having a go at a plumbing or gas job yourself, give us a call first. It might save you a bit of time, money and frustration in the long run.

Sometimes those small jobs can turn into much bigger ones when they're not sorted properly the first time.

Watering the garden, washing the side-by-side after a trip to the beach, filling the pool or spa, there are plenty of jobs that are easier when the tap is right where you need it.
