The team completed the electrical fit-out on the new Taradale Police Base, a two-storey modular facility for NZ Police.

The electrical installation was carried out in Niche Group's Petone factory before the building was completed on site in Taradale.

The plumbing and drainage was handled by Inspire Plumbing and the aluminium joinery by Nebulite Wellington, a strong example of coordinated delivery across trades.

Over the school holiday period, our team completed the underground drainage and tank installation package for the Newlands Intermediate School expansion in Paparangi.

Completing this critical underground working during the break minimised disruption and supported the wider construction programme before students returned.

A big congratulations to Nkechika Azolukwam, who was awarded a $5,000 scholarship sponsored by Inspire Plumbing and Drainage at this year's Whitireia Foundation Awards.

Nkechika is currently completing her Bachelor of Nursing at Whitireia in her third and final year.

The Whitireia Foundation has supported students since 1999, and in 2026 is awarding more than $100,000 in scholarships across more than 40 recipients. We're proud to be one of the sponsors helping make that happen.

The Taradale Police Base was blessed last week and is now operational, part of NZ Police's D500 Programme to bring 500 new frontline officers into service.

Inspire Plumbing and Drainage was proud to support the delivery of this facility. Five hundred new frontline officers coming into service is a significant commitment, and it is good to have played a part in the infrastructure that makes it possible.

Inspire Plumbing and Drainage was pleased to be involved in the refurbishment and modernisation of the Porirua College gym facility and additional changing rooms.

The project addressed long-term water ingress and associated structural deterioration through strengthening of the steel portal frame, replacement of decayed timber elements, and upgrades to foundations and bracing systems.

Works also included a full recladding and re-roofing of the building, new joinery and insulation systems, and internal refurbishment of gym and support spaces. Improvements to ventilation, lighting, fire protection, and building services are being integrated to meet current NZ Building Code requirements.

This project showcases a comprehensive approach to remediation - retaining and upgrading an existing asset while delivering a safe, durable, and future-ready facility for the school community.

Great to see another community-focused project progressing toward delivery.

Groundwork is complete for this 20 home development in eastern Porirua.

Inspire is supporting the the Central Pacific Collective's "Our Whare Our Fale" project. The goal: up to 300 affordable homes for Pasifika families in the region over the next 5-10 years. Our team is covering 20 homes, with 7 through to first fix and ready for lining.
