World Refrigeration Day has arrived, for those that know me, they know how passionate I am about it, to me, WRD is like another birthday, only happens once a year, on our birthday, we celebrate another year of getting older with friends and family, it’s a day we reflect on the past year of ups and downs and be thankful and look forward to the next birthday, WRD is the same, we need to take the opportunity to reflect (which can be difficult given how busy we may be) on how the trade has impacted our lives, we also need to look back and see how far Refrigeration has come from its inception and how it’s a huge part of our daily lives, it's evolving at a rapid pace and it's hard for us to keep up with this, the behind this trade is phenomenal , Refrigeration & HVAC has a big shortage of skills, technicians, knowledge, training, the list goes on and we need to change that, the Refrigeration & HVAC industry needs to be exposed as it always hidden, its not only about your fridge and Heat pump at home, that's not even the tip of the iceberg, if we can get the word out there, that will help get the awareness to the public and hopefully gain more traction for men and women to get involved in this trade.
