Happy Fun Fact Friday from the team at Superior Doors! 🚀

FUN FACT: The tallest doors on Earth are located at NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building in Florida, standing at a mind-blowing 139 meters tall!

To put that in perspective:
📐 That’s taller than the Statue of Liberty!
⏱️ It takes a full 45 minutes just to open them!

Now, we might not build rocket-sized doors here at Superior Doors, but we definitely know a thing or two about crafting high-quality doors built to last! Have a great weekend, everyone!

♻️ Happy Recycling Week from all of us at Superior Doors! ♻️

Our team has put up our Recycling Week posters and we're making a conscious effort to think twice before binning items.

Today is Reusable Day!

We’re swapping out single-use plastics for our favorite reusable coffee cups, water bottles, and lunch containers.

Together, small actions make a big impact!

Happy Friday from Superior Doors! 🚪💥

Fun Fact Friday: If someone slams a door in your face, behavioural science confirms they are probably a little annoyed with you.

The bright side? Even if your feelings take a hit, our door leaves won't. Engineered with high-density cores, a Superior door leaf is built solid to handle any dramatic exit you throw at it.

(Now if only we could manufacture a door leaf that absorbs awkward silences...)

Are you a dramatic door-slammer or the one left standing in the hallway? Let us know in the comments! 👇

💗 We did it! 💗

This past Sunday, our team laced up their sneakers and took part in the Pink Ribbon Walk!

We are so proud of everyone who stepped out, crossed the finish line, and raised vital funds and awareness for breast cancer research and support. It was an incredible day bringing our team together for such an important cause! 🎀

Excited to see Superior Doors featured in Verve Magazine’s Best in Doors & Stairs! 🚪✨

They took a close look at our Mackenzie range, our modern take on traditional timber barn doors, crafted to give homeowners and designers an authentic, customizable, bold centerpiece for any space.

A huge thank you to the team at Verve for the write-up, and to everyone who continues to support quality NZ-made craftsmanship!

We celebrated Eid this Monday and had such a great time! 🎉

I promise we do more here than just eat (although we do that very well). One of the best parts of working at Superior Doors is learning about and celebrating different cultures through the amazing people in our team.

Fun fact: Eid marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting, and is celebrated with food, generosity, and time spent with family and friends. 🌙

🎉🐎 Lunar New Year Celebrations! 🐎🎉

We celebrated Lunar New Year on the 17th, and it was absolutely fantastic!

A huge thank you to Alison and Bonny for organising such a fun game where we guessed Chinese idioms. There were plenty of laughs, great food, and lots of learning along the way. It was delicious, entertaining, and such a special way to celebrate together.

We always look forward to this celebration each year and love learning more about Chinese culture and the traditions behind the Lunar New Year.

Good luck to everyone for the Year of the Horse! 🐎

Fun fact: People born in the Year of the Horse are said to be energetic, confident, and hardworking, with a strong independent streak. The Horse symbolises strength, speed, and success. Here’s to a year full of momentum and achievement!
