The southern crew, all in one place! 📸🔨

Mel, the kids and I are in Christchurch this week, spending time working from the Lee Builders southern office. This morning we got the team together for our all-important health and safety meeting, followed by an impromptu photo shoot. Some were more excited about the camera than others! 😂

Great to catch up, share a few laughs and spend time with the people who keep our building and maintenance work moving across Christchurch and the wider South Island.

Getting everyone home safely is always the priority. These catch-ups give us a chance to talk through the challenges, learn from each other and keep our standards high.

Thanks for having us, team. Proud of the work you do and the way you look after our clients and each other. 🙌

Hato Paora College - Junior Dorm

We’ve recently wrapped up the construction of the Junior dorms at Hato Paora College, creating a fresh, modern and purpose-built space from the ground up.

From the initial groundwork through to the final finishes, our team managed the construction process and brought the plans to life - with plenty of coordination, hard work and attention to detail along the way.

The finished result is a practical, comfortable space ready to be put to good use. 👌

A big thanks to our team and everyone involved in delivering another great project for our client.

Another one completed, another quality space ready for its next chapter 💪

💚 Looking after the team goes beyond getting the job done.

This morning we had BCITO and Tai Tupou come in and have a chat with the Lee Builders team about mental health, wellbeing and looking after ourselves and each other.

Construction can be busy, demanding and sometimes stressful, so we think it’s important to make time for these conversations too.

There was some really practical reminders about checking in with the people around us - and also recognising when we might need a bit of support ourselves.

Sometimes a simple “How are you actually going?” can make a bigger difference than we realise.

A big thanks to Mitre10 MEGA Palmerston North for your support and putting on a mean BBQ breakfast!

Thanks to Tai and BCITO for taking the time to come in and talk openly with the team. We are all about looking after our people, on and off the tools. 💚

FROM THE CAPITAL TO QUEENSTOWN! 🔵⚪️✈️**

At Lee Builders we were incredibly proud to get behind the Petone Rugby Football Clubs Year 8 team and to help the squad get down to Queenstown. 🏔️🏉

Providing these young legends with the chance to travel, build team culture, and represent the Club on the national stage is what it’s all about for us. Seeing the heart they played with and the fun they had makes it all worth it. The future of the club is looking brighter than ever! 🔨💪

Shout out to the players, the parents, and the whole Petone community for making the trip the boys will never forget. 👏

Wow, it's amazing to see the paint team putting in the work this winter! 🎨 They're giving this Hunterville church a total makeover. So cool to see them dedicated even when it's chilly outside. Big shoutout to their hard work and dedication. 🙏
