Yesterday was all about sunshine at 2YS Plumbing & Drainlaying!

We had the privilege of connecting a property to the water main, with approximately 60 metres of trenching and pipework to get the job done. 💪

A good dig, a lot of dirt moved, plenty of hard work — but seeing it all come together and getting that connection completed makes it worth it!

At 2YS, we don't believe in short fixes or patch jobs. We take pride in doing things properly, leaving the site tidy and making sure the job is done right from start to finish. 👊

KEEP YOUR WATER TANK CLEAN – IT STARTS WITH YOUR GUTTERS!

If your home relies on rainwater, keeping your gutters, downpipes and water tanks properly maintained is important for keeping your stored water as clean as possible.

KEEP PLANTS & TREES AWAY FROM YOUR TANK AND GUTTERS

Overgrown trees and plants can drop leaves, flowers, bark and other organic material into your gutters. When it rains, all of this can wash straight into your water tank.

WHAT CAN GET INTO YOUR WATER?

If your gutters and tank aren't maintained, your rainwater system can collect:

• Bird droppings and nesting material
• Insects and other small animals
• Dirt, dust and sediment
• Organic matter from trees and plants
• Roof debris and other contaminants

Sometimes we need to stop and appreciate the small things — because to our kids, those “small” things can be the biggest moments. ❤️

Today we took the day off for our 5-year-old because today is a big day for him, it’s Book Day and Dress Up Day at school, something he has been so excited about!

As business owners, we know business is important. But we also want to model and lead our team by showing that our work matters, but our home, our family and our foundation matter even more.

Sometimes you just have to stop, be present and enjoy the moments that mean everything to our little ones.

One day he won’t be 5 anymore. So today, we chose to be there.
