A sad day at Poingdestre Developments…

Our trusty water blaster has officially blasted its last bit of water. Been with us since Day 1, cleaned more houses, concrete, mud, tools and probably a few things it had absolutely no business cleaning.

She’s been abused, neglected, thrown in the trailer and somehow just kept turning up for work.

It especially loved cleaning my dirt bike every Monday, although I’m pretty sure that wasn’t in its original job description

But today… she finally said “stuff this” and retired permanently.

This Week’s Progress

Another good week at Te Horo with plenty happening as we get closer to the finish line.

This week the team has been working through:

✔️ Internal STO progressing throughout
✔️ Preparation underway for the ply ceilings
✔️ Installation of custom timber shelving and joinery final touches
✔️ External flashings installed and finishing work progressing
✔️ Preparation of the courtyard for the new paving and landscaping works

We're now getting into the finishing stages, where all the work that's gone into the build starts coming together.

Great effort from everyone involved this week.

Te Horo Project Update

Another productive week on site as we move closer to the finish line, with approximately five weeks until practical completion.

This week we've made great progress across the project, including:
✔️ Internal GIB linings completed
✔️ Intello ceiling system installation
✔️ Bathroom and laundry works progressing
✔️ Joinery and shelving installation
✔️ Door and glazing preparation
✔️ Final pre-plaster works underway

Every stage of a build matters. While these aren't always the most glamorous parts of a project, they're the foundation of a quality finish. Taking the time to get these details right is what sets the finished result apart.

A huge thank you to our team and subcontractors for another outstanding week on site. The finish line is in sight, and we're looking forward to sharing the completed project over the coming weeks.
