Building a new home?

If a pool is part of the plan, getting us involved early can make a huge difference to the finished result.

Pool placement, paving, levels, fencing, drainage, plant & equipment, lighting and water features all work best when they’re considered alongside the house and landscaping from the beginning.

We work with homeowners, builders, designers and landscapers to create custom pools that feel like they were always meant to be part of the home.

Thinking about a pool? Here’s something worth considering early on: how deep do you actually want it? 💦

It really comes down to how you see yourself using the pool. A shallower area is great for younger kids, lounging and cooling off, while a little more depth gives you more room for swimming and making a splash. For most families, it’s about finding the sweet spot between the two.

That’s why every Mayfair pool is designed around your family, your backyard and how you want to use it, rather than starting with a standard template.

WE’RE HIRING – PART-TIME YARD PERSON

Know someone who’s retired, semi-retired, or just looking for a few flexible hours each day?

Mayfair Pools Manawatū is looking for a reliable, practical person to help keep our yard and day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Around 2–3 hours per day, with flexible hours to suit the right person.

The role will include:
* Organising incoming stock and deliveries
* Getting materials ready for upcoming jobs
* Picking up orders and supplies from around town
* Keeping the yard clean, tidy and organised
* Occasional deliveries out to job sites
* General handyman and odd jobs as needed

This role is mainly working on your own, so we’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, organised and comfortable getting on with the job without needing much supervision.

You’ll need to:
* Have a full driver licence
* Be practical and handy on the tools
* Be comfortable driving a small truck and/or towing a trailer
* Be able to use a forklift, or be willing to learn
* Be willing to complete a Dangerous Goods course if required
* Be reliable and able to use a bit of common sense

This could be a great fit for someone retired or semi-retired who still enjoys keeping busy, getting out and about, and doing practical hands-on work without committing to full-time hours.

Based in Aokautere, Palmerston North.

If this sounds like you, send us a private message with a little bit about yourself.

And if it sounds like someone you know, please give this a share!

With time at a premium for everyone these days, it can be a hard slog to get the family together. So we're not surprised how many clients mention they want their pool to bring their families and friends together.

“There is something about water that changes the pace of the day. It settles everyone,” these clients told us when the project was complete.

Adding a custom spa to your existing poolscape is one of the simplest ways to elevate both the look and functionality of your outdoor space.

Whether it’s included as part of a larger pool renovation or added later as a standalone feature, a spa creates a relaxing, year-round retreat right at home.

Thanks for the lovely feedback Blair 😁

Pita helped us out on a large job setting up a spa pool pump and heater system that was outside our usual scope. He was knowledgeable and great to deal with throughout. We really appreciated his expertise and would highly recommend Mayfair Pools. Thanks again, Pita!

🏆 GOLD – BEST AGENT! 🏆

We’re incredibly proud to have been awarded GOLD for Best Agent at the 2026 Mayfair Pools Awards.

This award recognises so much more than the pools we build. It reflects our overall performance as a Mayfair agent, including our workmanship, customer service, business growth, supplier relationships and interactions, involvement within the Mayfair network, and the way we represent the Mayfair brand.

It’s been a massive year for our team, and this award really belongs to everyone who has been part of it.

A huge thank you to our awesome team, customers, suppliers and the wider Mayfair Pools family for all the support.

We’re incredibly proud to represent Mayfair Pools here in the Manawatū 💙

Another school pool ready for many more years of swimming! 💙🏊

There's nothing more rewarding than bringing a well-loved school pool back to life.

We recently completed the re-fibreglassing of this school swimming pool, giving it a fresh new finish that's ready for many more years of lessons, sports days and summer fun.

A huge thank you to the school for trusting us with their refurbishment and for taking the time to leave us this wonderful feedback:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"We were extremely pleased with the service and workmanship provided by Mayfair Pools during the re-fibreglassing of our school swimming pool.

From the initial consultation through to project completion, the team was professional, reliable, and communicated clearly throughout the process. They worked efficiently, completed the project to a high standard, and ensured the site was left tidy and safe at all times.

The finished result has exceeded our expectations. Our pool looks fantastic, and we have every confidence that the new fibreglass finish will provide many years of reliable service for our students and wider school community.

We would not hesitate to recommend Mayfair Pools to any school or organisation looking for a quality pool refurbishment. Their commitment to excellent workmanship and customer service made the entire experience straightforward and stress-free."
