Probably more often than not, we hear about poor after sales service, no brand support and a lack of ground level expertise for the machinery we have invested heavily into.
I myself have levelled criticisms at some of the importers and distributors whose machines we run.
So, at a time when margins are tight for both parties, it is refreshing to see and experience a reversal of that trend and a renewed commitment to both the brand and the customer.
Recently we have have had ongoing issues with some componentry on our balers.
Our seasons are tight, the machines are expensive and any period where we are sidelined through extended break downs can't be ignored.
Rather than walk away from the problem, Kuhn NZ and Norwood's have dusted themselves off , invested some money and energy into correcting the issues and appear to be committed to seeing the Kuhn brand well supported once more.
We have had full remedial repair work carried out at little cost and inconvenience to ourselves which is more than we could have expected.
I'm not peeing in anyone's pockets nor am I looking for anyone's approval but I genuinely believe if we are happy to criticise then we are equally obliged to balance that with the appropriate acknowledgement of a job well done.
Dealers, Salesmen and Technicians cop a lot of flak at times, it costs you nothing to give recognition to the many things they get right !
