This project is a very special one for our team.

Working with repeat clients is a privilege and a reflection of the trust built through past projects and relationships.
That trust gave us the opportunity to showcase what our builders and joiners can achieve across all aspects of the home.

A key focus throughout the project was retaining the character and integrity of the original home while carefully enhancing it for modern living.

The transformation included the refurbishment of almost every aspect of the property — from the Western Red Cedar cladding, custom kitchen and bathroom joinery, bespoke native timber library and furniture, decks and landscaping, feature retaining walls, a new internal lift, and everything in between.

It was a great opportunity to demonstrate the skill, craftsmanship and versatility of our building and joinery team. There’s no better compliment than a client continuing to trust us with more of their home.

A big thank you to our wonderful clients for entrusting us with such a special project. We look forward to watching this home being used and enjoyed as it was intended for many years to come.

AMERICAN WHITE OAK | It’s all in the details 🤎

There’s something pretty special about the warmth and character of American White Oak — and this recent project gave us plenty of opportunities to showcase it.

From custom floating shelves and feature ledges through to detailed cabinetry and handcrafted furniture, these timber elements were designed and made by our Christie Joinery team to flow seamlessly throughout the home.

The natural grain and warm tones of the American White Oak work beautifully against the crisp white walls, polished concrete and neutral finishes, creating a timeless look without overpowering the space.

And that joinery detail on the table base… 👌 A great example of craftsmanship you don’t always notice from across the room, but makes all the difference up close.

Custom designed. Crafted in-house. Made to suit the home.

Thinking about incorporating natural timber into your next build or renovation? Our team can help with everything from the initial design and timber selection through to finishing and installation.

A few progress shots from one of our recent projects 👌

This build is really starting to come together now — cedar cladding is looking sharp, the curved block retaining wall and elegant lighting details are really tying things together, and the kwila deck is coming up beautifully.

We’ve also started the landscaping, along with putting together the feature stair trellis, and installing some beautiful leadlight windows inside that add a real touch of character to the home.

Plenty of detail and craftsmanship throughout this one and we’re proud of how it’s shaping up. And if you’re a sucker for leadlight windows, watch this space 👀
